Antique Australian lounge or hallway unit-Lion Head Handles-vgc. in BORONIA, Victoria for sale
Purchased in Echuca over 20 years ago..
Very unusual Australian lounge/hallway unit.
(DIMENSIONS)
Length - 5ft.
Width - (front to back) - 18 inches.
Height-3ft and 5 inches.
I'm not sure what type of wood it is made from but the unit is very heavy (the top is laminated, the rest is solid wood)...Ply back.
The woodgrain changes colour under different lighting conditions (the camera flash shows this up in the photos).
Very unusual lion head handles (original)...SEE PHOTO 3.
4 draws,two cupboards and a glass display section.
PLEASE NOTE-I cut a couple of small holes in the ply back as i used it for my stereo system (for the speaker wires etc).SEE PHOTO 7...makes a great antique entertainment unit.
There is a light cup mark and some smaller marks on the top of the unit (SEE PHOTOS 4,5 & 6).
